My sister is leaving for an extended trip around the world and I spent a lot of time thinking about what to give her. She has the necessary backpack and travel essentials, my parents have given her a good camera to capture all the sights and I didn’t want to load her down with anything too large (noise canceling headphones were suggested to me) or expensive (like a beautiful passport cover). So one of the things I decided on is music – I know that will keep her entertained on the road and company when she misses home. I made her a mix CD of recent tunes (a little outdated, yes, but I figure she’ll copy it on to her iPod) and an iTunes gift certificate to purchase more of her faves.
