The best gift my mother ever gave me was tickets to see The Phantom Of The Opera with her when I was in highschool. We were singing all these songs in choir at the time and I had always wanted to go and see the actual production. It was such an awesome present. We went together and had an awesome mom and daughter day as well. Fond memories…

My mother told me when I was young that in life it’s best to maintain a sense of humor. She taught me that happiness and mental well being are things that are achievable despite wavering circumstances, and she provided me with the tools that were required to make the right decisions.
The best gift my mother gave me was the ability to hold my head up and see the sunshine through the rain.

The best gift my mother ever gave me was the knowledge that hair can grow back and be dyed so is fine to play with and change, but a tattoo or piercing is far more permanent. So dye your hair purple if you want, but if you live the rest of your life with a hole in your nose that’s your fault.

The best gift from my Mum was the gift of travel… in high school and uni this involved trips to Oxford, Paris and Sienna and most recently helping me travel around the world!

My mom and I fell on hard times, and to help pay for her medication and bills I ended up selling my gold and amethyst necklace I got from my favorite uncle when I was little. A few months later, my birthday came around and I wasn’t expecting anything from her. But she gave me this little black box, and inside was my necklace. Through all her hard times, she got enough money to buy it back for me. It meant so much. I love my mom :)
