Truth be told this was a present for myself, but boy does it make me happy. We just added a magnolia tree to the front yard of our house and it makes coming home even better each day. Take someone special to your local nursery to have the pick out a special flowering plant or tree for their home for a gift that will provide natural beauty year after year.

Indigo has Grow-Your-Own magnolia tree kits in stores right now for just $25! You have start from scratch, planting the seed in a bucket of soil and watering until it’s big enought to go in the ground, so it will take a while before it grows to it’s full glory, but a great deal and fun project to nurture nonetheless.
Will have to check that out!
